They have been used in different domains such as package deliveries, remote area monitoring, industrial inspections and aerial mapping. Despite all the promising possibilities that drone based approaches enable, the design and implementation of programmable drone control algorithms can be challenging, due to the need to consider several factors, such as flight dynamics, onboard sensors, communication and interaction with the environment. In the context of programmable drones, a digital twin can reproduce the characteristics and behavior of a real drone, allowing experimentation and adjustment of control algorithms without the risk of damaging equipment or endangering lives. A digital twin is a virtual representation of a physical system or process in real time. This work presents a prototype of digital twin based in the behavior of an indoor UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). The methodology used in this work defines five specific steps towards the specification and implementation of a functional prototype that is further developed in a prototype development process. The results are promising and enabled the satisfactory operation of the digital twin, in substitution of a real drone, in several validation scenarios. O desenvolvimento da tecnologia utilizada nos drones e suas aplicações diversas em diferentes setores da atividade humana emergiram como uma alternativa promissora aos métodos convencionais utilizados até então. Apesar de todas as possibilidades promissoras que abordagens baseadas em drones possibilitam, o projeto e a implementação de algoritmos de controle programáveis para drones tem sido uma tarefa cada vez mais complexa e desafiadora, devido à necessidade de considerar vários fatores, como dinâmica de voo, sensores embarcados, comunicação e interação com o ambiente. No contexto de drones programáveis, um gêmeo digital pode reproduzir as características e o comportamento de um drone real, permitindo a experimentação e o ajuste dos algoritmos de controle sem o risco de danificar equipamentos ou colocar vidas em perigo. Um gêmeo digital é uma representação virtual de um sistema físico ou processo em tempo real. Este trabalho apresenta um protótipo de gêmeo digital baseado no comportamento de um Veículo Aéreo Não Tripulado (VANT) indoor. A metodologia utilizada neste trabalho define cinco etapas específicas para a especificação e implementação de um protótipo funcional, que é posteriormente desenvolvido em um processo de desenvolvimento de protótipo.
