Resumo: | This project aims to apply the SWOT matrix in a tourism agency, seeking to identify the strengths, transitory points, opportunities and threats inherent to the organization. As specific objectives, it seeks to: a) Map the general vision of the company's employees about the business; b) Propose strategies to improve the identified scenario. The research method applied was an exploratory case study. Participant observation was also used. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with a sample of company employees. As a result of applying the SWOT matrix, the main strengths (loyal clientele, well-structured company, active marketing, ownership of direct suppliers) were identified as main strengths (delay in returning to customers, absence of HR, improvement in time management and training ) opportunities (investing in technology for ecommerce, increased search for post-pandemic travel) and threats (competition, internet, high prices). For each of these points, action strategies were developed with a view to maximizing everything that is already positive, as well as mitigating the effects of the identified negative points. |
