Resumo:The race for energy transition, as a means to achieve one of the sustainable development goals proposed by the UN (SDG 7), has been combining efforts in the use of renewable energy sources, and in this scenario, wind energy stands out as a strong candidate. Worldwide, new technologies are being employed to ensure greater efficiency in the generation of electricity in these projects, both onshore and offshore. In this sense, it is also necessary to have an adequate means of transmitting the produced energy, thus studying the mode of electrical transmission. This thesis aims to provide a literature review on the main technologies applied in the transmission of electrical energy in wind farms, with a focus on offshore parks, drawing a parallel between them as well as the associated implementation costs.
