points for improvement of its application in the works a company in the state of Rio Grande
do Norte, through the case study of the application of a management software in a
construction company. In order to contextualize the importance of this management, it is
discussed about the emergence of Industry 4.0 and some of its implications, such as the
concept of Big Data and the creation of large databases, as well as the need for organization
and filtering of this information, due to its rapid flow of expansion, and the plurality of
sources and formats in which this information is generated and received. Moreover, a
conceptualization of Information Management itself, and the importance of generating One

implementation of a centralized information system in a remodeling company, evaluating its
usability and user experience. Through the extraction and analysis of data from these systems,
as well as satisfaction surveys done with users, important indicators were obtained that were
key pieces in judging the importance of investing in the centralization of information in Civil
