Resumo:This study aims to analyze the general liquidity and debt composition of the companies João Fortes Engenharia, Nexpe and Rossi Residencial, which are listed on B3 as undergoing judicial recovery in 2023, in the years 2021 and 2022, with the objective of understanding the capacity of the companies to meet their short-term obligations and evaluate the capital structure adopted by each one of them. Understanding the financial health of companies is essential for investors, managers and other stakeholders. The analysis of liquidity and indebtedness provides insights into the ability to pay obligations, the financial risk and the adopted financing strategy, being essential for making informed decisions. A quantitative analysis will be carried out of general liquidity indicators and debt composition based on the companies' financial reports. Data were collected from publicly available balance sheets and financial statements. The results revealed that the company João Fortes Engenharia presented a slight reduction in general liquidity and an increase in long-term debt. The company Nexpe showed a significant drop in overall liquidity, but adopted a long-term financing strategy. Rossi Residencial had low overall liquidity and dependency on short-term financing. Based on the analysis of the indicators, the companies presented different levels of liquidity and debt structures
