Resumo:Fashion is an important element of community and individual expression, capable of marking the identity of times and places, in addition to having enormous potential for generating employment and income. However, the textile industry is the 3rd most polluting in the world, and it is necessary to think about other sustainable and rational ways not only for production, but also consumption. Adding to the case, consumers and producers are increasingly attracted by experiences that go beyond the act of buying or working, thus demanding living in spaces that provoke their senses, an aspect met by multi-sensorial architecture strategies. In the context of Caicó/RN, a local disposition for fashion creation and production can be observed, considering 3 courses related to the area offered (two at medium level and one higher), as well as the popular knowledge of artisans and embroiderers and textile enterprises. As expressed, the general objective of this work to develop a preliminary design of a Fashion Center, from the perspective of the strategies employed in multisensory architecture. In order to reach it, we have the following specific objectives: 1. Understand how the dynamics of fashion occurs, allied to the creative economy and its spatial needs; 2. Comprehend how architectural choices can influence human perception in designed spaces and 3. Apply the principles of multi-sensorial architecture in a fashion center, in order to encourage the creation of stimulating spaces for the user. As a methodology used for the theoretical basis, the systematization of data was carried out through records and reference studies. As a result, it’s proposed a preliminary project with its scope focused on the production, events and marketing of fashion, with a total area of 1.792,42m², implemented in the city of Caicó/RN.
