Resumo: | The theme of this article is the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) pandemic and phonological
awareness in Brazilian children in elementary school. This is an integrative literature review
from 2020 to 2023, aiming to investigate the research problem based on the following
question: “What were the main implications fostered by the Covid-19 pandemic for the
phonological awareness skills of Brazilian children in the process of of literacy?” The objective
was to elaborate an integrative literature review on the phonological awareness ability of
Brazilian children from the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, to characterize and analyze
the national scientific production on the phonological awareness ability of Brazilian children
from the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Searches were carried out in the CAPES,
SciELO, LILACS and Web of Science databases. Six references met the inclusion criteria and
the results indicate that children faced difficulties in developing phonological awareness skills
during the pandemic period. It is concluded that there is a need for more research on
phonological awareness skills, and the impacts on schoolchildren's learning in a postpandemic context. |
