| Resumo: | ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance), a term that has been highlighted nowadays, makes use of these three aspects, the environmental, social and governance, being considered essential criteria with the intention of evaluating the performance and sustainability of a company or organization. The objective of this work is to present a diagnosis of ESG factors, according to the technical recommendation ABNT PR 2030, which establishes the procedures for its incorporation in organizations, through which to outline a strategy aiming at the elaboration of an ESG implementation plan in a solid waste company. We know how important the adoption of these criteria is for each and every business, regardless of its size and niche, but bringing this reality to a company in the field of solid waste is extremely important in order to guarantee sustainable and responsible business performance. since the solid waste sector deals directly with environmental issues, such as the collection, treatment and proper disposal of waste. Good governance strengthens the confidence of investors, business partners and customers, contributing to decision-making. In addition, it can open up new business opportunities and attract investors and customers committed to sustainability. |
