Within the organizational field, this is a factor of great impact, since the leader is responsible for establishing goals, making decisions, and motivating the collaborators. In view of this, this article aims to analyze the leadership styles in the context of the Currais Novos-RN City Hall. The methodology used was a case study, with a qualitative approach, using the questionnaire as a technique of data collection. The questionnaire was applied, obtaining 6 respondents, working in the Health and Administration Secretaries of the City Hall, ranging in age from 28 to 53 years old, with at least a college degree. When answering the questions, they predominantly identified themselves with the actions and characteristics of the democratic style, not identifying themselves with the actions presented in the autocratic and liberal styles, reaching the conclusion that in the institution, considering the group investigated, the predominant leadership style is the democratic one, where the leaders present communicative and cooperative characteristics towards their respective teams. A liderança é um fenômeno presente em diversas esferas. Dentro do campo organizacional, este é um fator de grande impacto, pois o líder é o responsável por estabelecer metas, tomar decisões e motivar os colaboradores. Diante disso, esse presente artigo tem por objetivo analisar os estilos de liderança no contexto da Prefeitura de Currais Novos-RN. A metodologia utilizada foi a de estudo de caso, com uma abordagem qualitativa, utilizando o questionário como técnica de coleta de dados. O questionário foi aplicado, obtendo 6 respondentes, lotados nas Secretarias de Saúde e Administração da Prefeitura, com faixa etária de 28 a 53 anos, com no mínimo nível superior de escolaridade. Ao responder as questões, estes se identificaram predominantemente com as ações e características do estilo democrático, não se identificando com as ações apresentadas do estilo autocrático e liberal, chegando a conclusão de que na instituição, considerando o grupo investigado, o estilo de liderança predominante é o democrático, onde os líderes apresentam características comunicativas e cooperativas para com as suas respectivas equipes. 2023-07-17T20:22:07Z 2023-07-17T20:22:07Z 2023-07-11 bachelorThesis DANTAS, Jonathan Bezerra.
