description Objective: to identify the profile of users and evaluate their satisfaction with the assistance offered in the ostomized patients' Health Care Services (SASPO) in Natal/RN. Methodology: descriptive study, with a quantitative approach, carried out with 44 patients seen at the Centro Estadual de Reabilitação e Atenção Ambulatorial Especializada (CERAE/RN). Data were collected by interview and analyzed by descriptive statistics. Results: the study revealed a predominance of males, aged between 18 and 40 years, of brown ethnicity, Catholic religion, retired, with complete elementary education, family income of one minimum wage, colostomized, and with a predominance of temporary stomas without a defined date for reversal surgery. The main cause for making the stoma was cancer, and the most common complication was dermatitis. Most reported changing the collecting bag without assistance. In the hospital, most participants received preoperative instructions, but there was a lack of pre- and postoperative guidance on the necessary care with the stoma and the change of the collecting bag. As for the guidance received in the SASPO, most considered it totally satisfactory, as well as the total resolution of doubts and problems. The participants highlighted the ease of attendance, but pointed out difficulties related to transportation, location and parking of the service, besides the lack of guidance on activities of inclusion of the person with ostomy in the family and society and encouragement to participation in support groups. Most reported that the collecting equipment provided is sufficient for monthly use, and considered that it totally meets their needs. Most expressed being totally satisfied with the quality of the materials received, as well as feeling totally safe regarding daily use. Conclusion: the study allowed us to understand the users' profile and evaluate their satisfaction with the SASPO service. The users expressed satisfaction with the orientations and equipment provided, and highlighted the ease of attendance. However, gaps were identified in the orientations during hospitalization, which highlights the importance of the nurse in filling these gaps. Furthermore, it is essential to promote family participation and social integration, which demands the training of professionals to conduct support groups.

Objetivo: identificar o perfil dos usuários e avaliar a satisfação deles com relação à assistência ofertada pelo Serviço de Atenção à Saúde da Pessoa Ostomizada (SASPO) em Natal/RN. Metodologia: estudo descritivo, de abordagem quantitativa, realizado com 44 pacientes atendidos no Centro Estadual de Reabilitação e Atenção Ambulatorial Especializada (CERAE/RN). Os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevista e analisados por estatística descritiva. Resultados: o estudo revelou predominância do sexo masculino, com faixa etária entre 18 e 40 anos, de etnia parda, religião católica, aposentados, com ensino fundamental completo, renda familiar de um salário mínimo, colostomizados, e com predominância de estomias temporárias sem data definida para cirurgia de reversão. A principal causa para a confecção do estoma foi neoplasia, e a complicação mais comum foi a dermatite. A maioria relatou realizar a troca da bolsa coletora sem assistência. No hospital, a maioria dos participantes recebeu instruções pré-operatórias, mas houve falta de orientações pré e pós-operatórias sobre os cuidados necessários com o estoma e a troca da bolsa coletora. Quanto às orientações recebidas no SASPO, a maioria considerou-as totalmente satisfatórias, assim como a resolução total de dúvidas e problemas. Os participantes destacaram a facilidade no atendimento, porém apontaram dificuldades relacionadas ao transporte, localização e estacionamento do serviço, além da falta de orientações sobre atividades de inclusão a pessoa com estomia na família e sociedade e incentivo à participação em grupos de apoio. A maioria relatou que os equipamentos coletores fornecidos são suficientes para uso mensal, e consideraram que atendem totalmente às suas necessidades. A maioria manifestou estar totalmente satisfeita com a qualidade dos materiais recebidos, assim como se sentirem totalmente seguros em relação ao uso diário. Conclusão: o estudo permitiu compreender o perfil dos usuários e avaliar sua satisfação com o serviço do SASPO. Os usuários expressaram satisfação com as orientações e equipamentos fornecidos, e destacaram a facilidade no atendimento. No entanto, foram identificadas falhas nas orientações durante a hospitalização, o que ressalta a importância do enfermeiro em preencher essas lacunas.
