| Resumo: | This study presents the use of Equation Engineering Solver software in the development of a refrigeration system capable of meeting a given demand for freezing beef, having analyzed the viability of an ideal and real one-stage cycle, as well as a two-stage cycle. in cascade, with the main objective of evaluating which refrigerant fluids present better economic results, in addition to discussing legislative and normative factors intrinsic to the use of certain fluids. The annual costs of operating the system between the different choices of fluid are presented and since the best choice proved to be R134a in the lower cycle and R600 for the upper cycle, finally improvements are made to this system. |
