Resumo:Accurate detection of chromatographic peaks allows for the identification of relevant chemical components in samples, aiding in decision-making and enhancing the oil exploration process. This work aimed to develop and validate an efficient algorithm for the detection of chromatographic peaks in the context of mud logging. The algorithm was implemented in Python and adapted for the LabVIEW environment, enabling its integration into Geowellex’s well monitoring software (SMP). Rigorous tests were conducted using representative sample from chromatographic analyses. The obtained results confirmed the algorithm’s effectiveness, demonstrating its high precision in peak detection, even in situations with noise and amplitude variations. The development of this algorithm and its integration into Geowellex’s SMP represent significant advancements in the field of chromatographic peak detection in mud logging.
