| Resumo: | This study examines the impact of Instagram on the ephemerality of photography, with an emphasis on the relationship between the aforementioned social media platform and the appreciation of photographic works. Through structured interviews conducted with professional photographers, the aim is to understand their perceptions and attitudes towards contemporary photographic practice. Subsequently, the analysis of the data is grounded in the identification and categorization of relevant themes, based on specialized literature. Preliminary results reveal that easy access to mobile technologies and the culture of sharing on social media have influenced the production and consumption of content, leading to greater ephemerality. |
