The research aims to comprehend the importance of physical CDs by analyzing the symbolic meaning attributed to these artifacts and their representativeness within fan culture. Furthermore, considering the impact of these physical objects on the audience relationship, the study also examines interviews with Lady Gaga fans from Natal to deepen the understanding of this phenomenon and its implications in the music market, aiming to provide insights into this new form of consumption. O trabalho investiga a relação entre fãs e artistas no contexto da era digital, focando especificamente no consumo dos CDs físicos. Com o avanço da tecnologia, o mercado musical passou por transformações significativas. Os CDs físicos enfrentaram uma queda na demanda após a popularização do streaming, no entanto, eles ainda desempenham um papel relevante na conexão emocional entre fãs e seus artistas favoritos. A pesquisa tem como objetivo compreender a importância dos CDs físicos, analisando o significado simbólico atribuído a esses artefatos e sua representatividade dentro da cultura de fãs.
