Resumo:The aim of this work is to apprehend the role of the agrarian bourgeoisie to maintain hegemony of agribusiness in the Brazilian reality, starting from the rooting of the agro-export model of commodities that permeates the socio-historical and economic foundations of Brazil from the moment of colonization in the 16th century, characterized by the plantation model of agriculture, until the moment of sovereignty of agribusiness and globalized and financialized capital. It is understood that the main face of the national ruling class is the agrarian bourgeoisie, mainly due to the role of agribusiness in times of crisis, when it is necessary to generate a positive balance in the foreign trade balance and, thus, causing the process of reprimarization of the economy and the historical trend of centralizing the export of basic products or raw materials. For this analysis, the work is anchored in the critical theoretical-methodological perspective of dialectic-materialism in order to obtain a greater theoretical approximation with the presented object of study, having as methodology a qualitative research with bibliographic review. It was identified that the class hegemony of the Brazilian agrarian bourgeoisie is built through the action of transnational capital in the countryside, anchored in financialization and allied to large landowners, which results in its broad economic power. Such an alliance between transnational and financial capital and large landowners results in the capture of the Brazilian State to favor the interests of the agrarian bourgeoisie, configuring a true ruralist lobby in the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary powers. Therefore, this hegemony results in the uncontrolled exploitation of land, natural resources and rural workers, which deepens inequalities and poverty, in addition to making the struggle of popular movements for Agrarian Reform unfeasible.
