| Resumo: | In recent years, both the energy model and the way energy is commercialized have undergone
several transformations, mainly due to the energy transition taking place in Brazil and the logistics and
complexity of the Brazilian electrical sector. This study provides an analysis of the sector in recent years,
highlighting the main transformations in the electricity industry. Following the analysis, a case study is
presented on a consumer unit (CU) that migrated to the free energy market. This enables an
understanding of the reasons behind the creation of the current energy commercialization model and
the impact of a consumer unit's migration. |
