Resumo:This is a case study of qualitative approach that aims to understand the perceptions of users and professionals in a Center for Coexistence and Culture (CECCO) on management. Nine professionals and five companions from the CECCO in Natal/RN participated in the study, who answered a social-demographic questionnaire and a semi-structured interview script. The research subjects were mostly women, with a mean age of 37.3 years. The professionals were mostly psychologists who had been working in the service for an average of one year and two months. Among the guests, the time they had been working at the service was four years. The speeches were analyzed using Content Analysis and allowed the elaboration of three thematic categories: I - Bond and the interface with management - "Your affection affected me, that's a fact"; II - Structural deficiency and the impact on management - "We want to drink, have fun and have art"; and III - Participative management - "Those who know how to do it, don't wait for it to happen". We conclude that management at the CECCO occurs in a participative and collaborative way, being enhanced by the technical competence of the managers and through the creation of bonds. On the other hand, it is hindered by the lack of structure.
