Methodology: this is an integrative literature review. The data for the preparation of the article were collected from searches in primary research sources, that is, scientific articles published from 2020 to 2022, and made available throughout the database: Google Scholar and Scielo, using the descriptors: “Psychic illness ”; "health professionals"; "pandemic"; "Covid-19". Results: the symptoms commonly reported by experts in the studies were found to include symptoms of post-traumatic stress, physical and mental fatigue in 3 cases (30%), insomnia and sleep disturbances in 5 cases (40%) and symptoms of depression and anxiety in 9 cases (100%) thus found that all selected studies showed depression and anxiety in their results. Conclusion: it is concluded that the mental illnesses commonly presented by professionals who worked on the front line were: anxiety, depression, insomnia, post-traumatic stress, physical and mental exhaustion, burnout syndrome, and in some cases suicidal behavior. Objetivo: Identificar a partir da literatura científica os problemas psíquicos enfrentados pelos profissionais de saúde que atuaram na linha de frente durante a pandemia do Covid-19. Metodologia: trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura. Os dados para elaboração do artigo foram coletados a partir de buscas em fontes primárias de pesquisas, ou seja, artigos científicos publicados em 2020 a 2022, e disponibilizados em toda a base de dados: Google Acadêmico e Scielo, utilizando os descritores:“Doença psíquicas”; “profissionais da saúde”; “pandemia”; “Covid-19”. Resultados: verificou-se que os sintomas comumente relatados por especialistas nos estudos incluem sintomas de estresse pós-traumático, fadiga física e mental em 3 casos (30%), insônia e distúrbios do sono em 5 casos (40%) e sintomas de depressão e ansiedade em 9 casos (100%) constatado assim, que todos os estudos selecionados apresentaram depressão e ansiedade em seus resultados.
