Resumo:The present work aimed to discuss the impact of CIART on the formation of Bachelors in Music at UFRN. Analyzing the training paths of undergraduates and graduates who worked at CIART in the last 5 years, specifically with regard to the impact of their involvement in CIART, for their teaching construction. In view of this, for a better understanding and theoretical foundation, I present studies and authors such as Silva; Nascimento (2014), Sousa (2020), Araujo (2021) and Silva (2020), addressing the themes Initial teacher training and professional practice: the Degree in Music at UFRN, University extension as a context of teacher training in music : the case of CIART. The methodology of this study used a qualitative approach, with an exploratory-descriptive character, with case study procedures, and had as techniques and data instruments a semi-structured interview script of the type of conversation. Finally, the results of this case study show the CIART extension project as a space for musical, professional, relevant and impactful training in the teaching training of music degree students, making it fundamental for the construction of the future music teacher.
