O domínio da ética na organização do conhecimento: um mapeamento da produção científica brasileira
description The research aims to map the Brazilian scientific production that problematizes the ethical, social, and political dimension of the knowledge organization, also seeking to identify the social relations between researchers that allow configuring the domain. The research is bibliometric, with a qualitative-quantitative approach, with a methodological contribution of domain analysis. Data collection was carried out in the sources Base de Dados Referenciais de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI), in the proceedings of the Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação (ENANCIB) and in the series "Advanced Studies in Knowledge Organization" of the Brazilian chapter of the International Society for Knowledge Organization (ISKO-BRASIL). 52 documents published between 2004 and 2019 were retrieved. Scientific production, although incipient, shows a growth trend from 2017. The national production is composed of 63 authors who work mainly in co-authorship with national peers, with emphasis on collaboration networks between masters and doctoral supervisors and advisees, highlighting the importance of graduate research. The most productive institutions are Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) e Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). The six thematic categories identified range from theoretical studies on ethics and values in the organization of knowledge to studies that identify biases and misrepresentation of subjects and authorship related to race, ethnicity, gender, and sexuality. It is concluded that the analyzed studies demonstrate that the processes of knowledge organization are not mere “technical processes”; they are imbued with a political and social dimension and must be guided by updated ethical values that make it possible to overcome injustices and violence against systematically excluded groups

A pesquisa é bibliométrica, com enfoque quali-quantitativo, com aporte metodológico da análise de domínio. A coleta de dados foi realizada nas fontes: Base de Dados Referenciais de Artigos de Periódicos em Ciência da Informação (BRAPCI), anais do Encontro Nacional de Pesquisa em Ciência da Informação (ENANCIB) e na série “Estudos Avançados em Organização do Conhecimento” do capítulo brasileiro da International Society for Knowledge Organization (ISKO-BRASIL). Foram recuperados 52 documentos publicados entre 2004 e 2019. A produção científica, embora incipiente, mostra tendência de crescimento a partir de 2017. A produção nacional é composta por 63 autores que trabalham principalmente em coautoria com pares nacionais, com destaque para redes de colaboração entre orientadores e orientandos de mestrado e doutorado, evidenciando a importância da pesquisa de pós-graduação. As instituições mais produtivas são a Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), a Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) e a Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). As seis categorias temáticas identificadas abrangem desde estudos teóricos sobre a ética e os valores na organização do conhecimento até estudos que identificam vieses e má representação de assuntos e autorias relacionados com raça, etnia, gênero e sexualidade.
