The present work consists of an evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation process of the reform of secondary education in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal/RN (2022). The reform aims to restructure the national teaching curriculum base, establishing training scripts that refer to the teaching curriculum reformulation. Thus, three dimensions were observed: technical capacity, infrastructure and financial resources. These dimensions were selected with the aim of facilitating the understanding of the research and contributing to the construction of indicators and the development of the study, in order to assess the effectiveness of the reform. An attempt was made to describe and identify the difficulties and advances found with regard to education in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in relation to the implementation of the aforementioned reform. In addition, it was understood through the application of sessions and semi-structured interviews that the reform of secondary education has provided good results so far. O presente trabalho consiste em uma avaliação de eficácia do processo de implementação da reforma do ensino médio no estado do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal/RN (2022). A reforma visa reestruturar a base nacional curricular de ensino, estabelecendo itinerários formativos que referenciam a reformulação curricular de ensino. Dessa forma, foram analisadas três dimensões: a capacidade técnica, de infraestrutura e de recursos financeiros. Essas dimensões foram selecionadas com o intuito de facilitar o entendimento da pesquisa e contribuir na construção dos indicadores e no desenvolvimento do estudo, a fim de avaliar a eficácia da reforma. Procurou-se descrever e identificar as dificuldades e os avanços encontrados no que tange à educação no estado do Rio Grande do Norte, com relação à implementação da referida reforma.
