Resumo:The present work consists of an evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation process of the reform of secondary education in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal/RN (2022). The reform aims to restructure the national teaching curriculum base, establishing training scripts that refer to the teaching curriculum reformulation. Thus, three dimensions were observed: technical capacity, infrastructure and financial resources. These dimensions were selected with the aim of facilitating the understanding of the research and contributing to the construction of indicators and the development of the study, in order to assess the effectiveness of the reform. An attempt was made to describe and identify the difficulties and advances found with regard to education in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in relation to the implementation of the aforementioned reform. In addition, it was understood through the application of sessions and semi-structured interviews that the reform of secondary education has provided good results so far.
