Resumo: | This Memorial brings memories of my academic trajectory, with the aim of reflecting on the
formative process of a black children's literature reader at school and at the University. From
the memories, I try to understand how black children's literature was absent/present in my
formative process, recording the discoveries and changes in thinking that occurred during the
interaction with the stories read at school and university, as well as reflecting on the ideas ,
emotions and feelings provoked by the readings of black children's literature, remembering
and reliving memories in my reading process. To support the work, I resorted to some authors,
such as: Amarilha (2002; 2003; 2009; 2012), Campos (2015; 2016), Debus and Vasques
(2009), Faria (2004), Saldanha and Amarilha (2016). The writing of the Memorial revealed
the importance of my reading training as a student and future teacher of basic education,
emphasizing the relevance of black children's literature in the construction of people with
anti-racist attitudes, because it allows us to know other cultures, understanding the existing
singularities. |
