Design methodology deals with the process by which designers develop their
projects, allowing a better understanding and management of the desiging stages in
order to achieve a goal. In addition, there are design tools that could be applied
during the process to obtain adequate results for the problems to be solved.
However, designers often don't know how to properly utilize methods and tools for
project development, which may involve issues with our current teaching system and
a lack of access to the processes carried out in design projects, actually showing the
application of both methodology and methodological tools in practice. In this context,
the present thesis seeks to create an mobile app that meets this need, creating a
repository of design projects focused on methodology. To achieve this app, a
User-Centered Design study was carried out to collect user-inclusive requirements
from the start of the project with focus on usability, in addition to the principles of
interface design. Finally, the Double Diamond methodology was chosen to split
project stages. On the Discovery stage, user surveys were carried out in order to
collect data for the definition and application of the folowing stages from the
methodology. On the Definition stage, UX goals were established, and a competitor
analysis was made, estabilishing project requirements. For the Development stage, a
low-fidelity prototype was created, tested accordingly to usability criteria. And finally,
the Delivery phase, where a high-fidelity prototype was developed, fixing errors found
in the previous stage, adding further improvements observed by previous users.
Thus, it was completed the interface design project for the 'Spazioll' mobile
application, a repository of design projects. |

A metodologia de projeto trata do processo pelo qual designers desenvolvem seus projetos e permite uma melhor compreensão e gestão das etapas projetuais para se atingir uma finalidade. Além disso, existem ferramentas projetuais que podem ser aplicadas durante o processo para se obter resultados adequados para os problemas a serem solucionados. Contudo, designers muitas vezes não sabem como utilizar métodos e ferramentas para desenvolver um projeto, podendo envolver questões de aprendizagem e a falta de acesso ao processo realizado em projetos de design, mostrando a aplicação da metodologia e ferramentas metodológicas na prática. Neste contexto, o presente trabalho busca criar um aplicativo que supra essa necessidade, criando um repositório de projetos de design com foco em metodologia. Para a produção do aplicativo, foi realizado estudo de Design Centrado no Usuário, para coletar os requisitos incluindo os usuários desde o princípio do projeto com foco na usabilidade, além dos princípios de design de interfaces. Por fim, foi definida a metodologia Double Diamond para dividir as fases do projeto. Na etapa Descobrimento, foram realizadas pesquisas com usuários a fim de coletar os dados para a definição e aplicação das demais fases da metodologia. Na etapa de definição foram estabelecidas metas de UX, realizou-se análise de similares, e foram estabelecidos requisitos de projeto. Na fase desenvolver houve a elaboração de um protótipo de baixa fidelidade, testado segundo critérios de usabilidade. E por fim na fase de entrega elaborou-se protótipo de alta fidelidade, com as correções dos erros encontrados na etapa anterior e com aprimoramentos observados pelos usuários.
