Resumo:The family nucleus is the primary basis for the child's education. It is understood that the family needs to commit to the school and encourage the child during the knowledge process. The school, in turn, is a fundamental environment to contribute to the learning process, through resources, systematized knowledge and actors with specific training for teaching. Family and school, together, can be promoters of child development. On the other hand, the field of neuroscience is increasingly approaching education to corroborate, through scientific evidence, about how the learning process takes place. With this, in this monograph we seek to reveal the perception of teachers in the early years about the importance of the family in the learning process. In this research, as a methodological approach, the qualitative approach was used, through the application of questionnaires to understand the perspective of the professors. Also, readings and analyzes of theoretical references were made, situating the studies through the themes of family, school, learning and neuroscience, which constitute the corpus of this research. Through the analysis of the questionnaires, it was possible to identify that the teachers understand the real need for the family to be present in the child's school world and present arguments for this premise. Finally, it was considered that school and family can benefit from the contributions of neuroscience, forming a support network, with a view to working towards the understanding of brain functioning for the benefit of this student's learning method.
