Tecnologia educacional em formato de vídeo para prevenção de infecção primária de corrente sanguínea neonatal
description Introduction: Primary Blood Stream Infections (IPCS) stand out as the main causes of morbidity and mortality in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In this perspective, it is observed that strategies made possible by Educational Technology (ET) have contributed to the adherence of professionals to good health practices and prevention of adverse events. Objective: To build and validate an Educational Technology (ET) in video format for health professionals about the prevention of primary neonatal bloodstream infection. Methods: Methodological study regarding the construction and validation of an educational technology in video format on the theme Prevention of Primary Neonatal Blood Stream Infection, from August 2021 to July 2022. The research was conceived with the assistance team of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a tertiary hospital, in the interior of Ceará. The video was built from scientific evidence about good practices in the prevention of IPCS in neonatology. Validation was performed by 18 expert judges and 28 professionals working in the NICU (target audience); items with concordance rates greater than or equal to 70% were considered validated. The final version of the video was adapted as recommended by the evaluators and edited with the help of the designer. Ethical precepts related to resolutions were metNo.466/2012; No.510/2016 e No.580/2018. Results: The content and appearance of the video images were validated by the judges with an average agreement rate of suitability of 98.14% and 98.78% among the target audience. Most of the judges (77.8%) considered the ET totally suitable for promoting learning in different hospital contexts in the area of neonatology. In addition, 100% of the judges stated that the material addresses the issues necessary for training the target audience. It was highlighted that 17.9% of the target audience stated that they had never had access to educational material on the prevention of IPCS in neonatology and emphasized that video will help in professional performance and can also be used by any professional working in the neonatology area. Conclusion: The video was validated in all evaluated domains and can be used as a permanent education tool by the team of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Introdução: As Infecções Primárias de Corrente Sanguínea (IPCS) destacam-se como as principais causas de morbimortalidade em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal (UTIN). Nesta perspectiva, observa-se que estratégias viabilizadas por Tecnologia Educacional (TE) têm contribuído para adesão dos profissionais às boas práticas em saúde e prevenção de eventos adversos. Objetivo: Construir e validar uma tecnologia educacional, em formato de vídeo, para os profissionais de saúde acerca da prevenção de infecção primária de corrente sanguínea neonatal. Método: Estudo metodológico, com abordagem quantitativa, referente à construção e validação de uma tecnologia educacional em formato de vídeo, acerca da temática Prevenção de Infecção Primária de Corrente Sanguínea Neonatal, no período de agosto de 2021 a julho de 2022. A pesquisa foi idealizada junto à equipe assistencial da Unidade de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal de um hospital terciário, do interior do Ceará. O vídeo foi construído a partir das evidências científicas acerca das boas práticas na prevenção de IPCS em neonatologia. A validação foi realizada por 18 juízes-especialistas e 28 profissionais atuantes na UTIN (público-alvo); foram considerados validados os itens com índices de concordância maior ou igual a 70%. A versão final do vídeo foi adequada conforme recomendações dos avaliadores e editada com auxílio do designer gráfico. Foram atendidos os preceitos éticos relacionados às resoluções nº 466/2012; nº 510/2016 e nº 580/2018. Resultados: O conteúdo e aparência das imagens do vídeo foram validados pelos juízes com índice médio de concordância de adequação de 98,14% e de 98,78%, entre o público-alvo. A maioria dos juízes (77,8%) considerou a TE totalmente adequada para promoção do aprendizado em diferentes contextos hospitalares na área da neonatologia. Além disso, 100% dos juízes afirmaram que o material aborda os assuntos necessários para a capacitação do público-alvo. Destacou-se que 17,9% do público-alvo afirmaram nunca terem tido acesso a material educativo sobre prevenção de IPCS em neonatologia e ressaltaram que o vídeo auxiliará na atuação profissional. Ademais, poderá ser utilizado por qualquer profissional que trabalhe na área da neonatologia.
