A educação do coração inquieto: a perspectiva educacional de uma escola agostiniana no Brasil
description In this investigation, we seek to understand how the educational concept is based on a Catholic Christian confessional school, more specifically at Colégio Santo Agostinho, São Paulo unit, belonging to the Order of Santo Agostinho. Therefore, the research is bibliographical and documentary. As documentary sources, the Educational Project of Colégio Santo Agostinho and the compendium “Basic Elements of Augustinian Pedagogy”, written by the Augustinian Order, were selected, which contemplate the understandings on the foundations of Augustinian Pedagogy. Access to newspapers of the time such as Jornal Diário Nacional, through the National Digital Library Brazil, was also sought as historical sources. For that, an analysis was carried out of the educational vision of Augustine of Hippo himself, observing his formation and the writings in his works. Subsequently, the historicity and presentation of the teaching unit, the object of this study, was explored. Next, the structuring conceptions present in the doctrinal and theoretical framework of the institution's Educational Project were analyzed, as well as in one of the guiding pedagogical instruments, organized and used by the Order of Saint Augustine itself. After all the course, the strong characteristic of Christian humanist pedagogy is observed as the link that brings together and subsidizes the pedagogical praxis. It is noticed the promotion of pedagogical visions in the criticality, freedom and participation of the student. The student is perceived as a protagonist in the process of his own education, when the dimensions of his memory, will and intelligence are understood. As for the teacher, this professional needs to trace the methodological path of action, through love and friendship, in order to awaken the joy and motivation of learning in the student and of teaching in the educator. In the end, educator and student need each other and both need divine enlightenment to reach the Truth, which is God himself. It is concluded that the pedagogical model structured and practiced by the friars of the Order of Saint Augustine, find echo in the words of their patron as well as being configured as a coherent possibility in the teaching-learning process. It is also suggested at the end of this article, the promotion of investigations referring to Augustinian education as well as the contributions in education promoted by confessional school institutions.

Nesta investigação procura-se compreender como é fundamentada a concepção educativa no âmbito de uma escola confessional cristã católica, mais especificamente no Colégio Santo Agostinho, unidade São Paulo, pertencente à Ordem de Santo Agostinho. Para tanto, a pesquisa é bibliográfica e documental. Como fontes documentais selecionou-se o Projeto Educativo do Colégio Santo Agostinho e o compêndio “Elementos básicos de pedagogía agustiniana”, escritos pela Ordem Agostiniana, os quais contemplam as compreensões sobre os fundamentos da Pedagogia Agostiniana. Buscou-se ainda, como fontes históricas o acesso a jornais da época como o Jornal Diário Nacional, através da Biblioteca Nacional Digital Brasil. Para tanto realizou-se análise da visão educadora do próprio Agostinho de Hipona, observando a sua formação e os escritos em suas obras. Posteriormente, perpassouse pela historicidade e a apresentação da unidade de ensino, objeto deste estudo. Em seguida, analisou-se as concepções estruturantes presentes no marco doutrinal e teórico do Projeto Educativo da instituição bem como em um dos instrumentos pedagógicos norteadores, organizado e utilizado pela própria Ordem de Santo Agostinho. Após todo o percurso, observa-se a característica forte da pedagogia humanista cristã como elo que reúne e subsidia a práxis pedagógica. Percebe-se o fomento das visões pedagógicas na criticidade, liberdade e participação do aluno. O discente é percebido como protagonista no processo da sua própria educação, quando compreendida as dimensões da sua memória, vontade e inteligência. Quanto ao docente, este profissional precisa traçar o caminho metodológico da ação, através do amor e da relação de amizade, no intuito de despertar a alegria e a motivação do aprender no educando e do ensinar do educador. No fim, educador e educando precisam um do outro e, ambos, necessitam da iluminação divina para alcançarem a Verdade, que é Deus mesmo. Conclui-se que o modelo pedagógico estruturado e praticado pelos freis da Ordem de Santo Agostinho, encontram eco nas palavras do seu patrono bem como se configura como possibilidade coerente no processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
