Resumo:Electrolytes are used by several sectors of industry, mainly in chemistry, such as in the manufacture of batteries and electrolyte replacement drinks. The densities of each of them have been obtained for years by different authors. Modeling is becoming increasingly important in chemical processes in general, and obtaining experimental data needs to be optimized with the aid of modern simulators. For this, the OLI Studio software was used to perform simulations about the mixtures of 43 electrolytes in water, recording the solid density value from a given mass fraction and temperature in the literature and later comparing the results obtained from the simulator. Tests were carried out in the temperature range between 0 °C and 140 °C, adopting 25 °C as a reference for all electrolytes, the pressure was 1 atm for all processes, although there was no significant influence on the density value. With this, 2D scatter plots were generated comparing the experimental and simulated values, approving the ability of the OLI Studio system to produce satisfactory results in relation to the literature, determining the density behavior as a function of temperature and mass fraction of each electrolyte.
