Resumo: | With the energy crisis that has occurred in recent years in Brazil, which has led to an increase in the electricity bill and the environmental impacts caused by non-renewable energy sources, it has become necessary to discuss the consumption profile of the entire Brazilian society and worldwide, resulting in a large investment in the field of renewable energies. Portable devices such as cell phones and tablets are part of this energy consumption and are present in our daily lives. Federal Universities have thousands of people who attend it, and make use of its electrical installations to charge cell phones, tablets and computers. Another point is about places such as bus stops, squares, social centers, which do not have the necessary support for charging these devices, as they are difficult to access from the network. Based on this need, an analysis was made of the concepts and work carried out with the proposed theme in order to develop an autonomous device that uses a renewable energy source to power the loads. This device is a solar totem, which have three USB outputs of 5 V with up to 15.5 W of load power, using photovoltaic modules to convert solar radiation into electrical energy, using the sun's rays, which is an abundant resource. In our country, being silent and without emitting negative gases into the earth's atmosphere, autonomously and sustainably, depending exclusively on solar irradiation. |
