Resumo:Given the evolution of civil construction over time and the growing scarcity of available land, the execution of underground areas has become a common practice for the best use of these lands. In order to make this process possible, the construction of containment structures becomes fundamental to guarantee the stability of the surrounding soil to the building and its safety. In this context, the present work seeks to analyze the displacements that occurred in a curtain of spaced piles, executed for a basement construction in a single-family residence, in a quantitative and qualitative way. For this to be possible, periodic measurements were carried out during 103 days of monitoring the structure. From the analysis of these data, it was possible to conclude that the curtain of spaced piles presented a maximum displacement of 0,0031% of the excavated height, which is within the parameters used as limit values. Furthermore, the displacements accelerations were verified for 3 selected sections, of which two of them presented a negative acceleration and the other a positive acceleration of low value.
