Resumo:In recent years, the emergence of new technologies in the field of computing has enabled several branches of science to develop techniques for simulating physical phenomena which, in turn, use powerful algorithms that require a great deal of knowledge about the use of computational resources both hardware (processing, memory, etc) and software (programming languages, object orientation, etc.), mainly in the solution of large linear systems. The emergence of these large systems of equations has encouraged research on mathematical methods for their resolution and approximation of their solution and, in parallel with the development of these methods, there is a need to develop computational techniques that optimally use the existing technology nowadays. The present work proposes an analysis of some of these computational techniques applied in the solution of Large Linear Systems, together with the analysis of some mathematical methods for solving these systems that are widespread in the scientific environment.
