| Resumo: | The present study is centered in the field of Administrative processes, with the objective of observing the routine of the payment process of the Brazilian Navy and how the use of Information Systems allows the optimization of the Institution's payment process. The methodology of this study consists of a qualitative descriptive research, characterized as a case study, as it deals with the actual guidelines of administrative action within the Brazilian Navy, specifically in the payment sector. It can also be considered a bibliographical research since it will present concepts and definitions obtained in specialized literature. As main results, it seeks to report how the use of information systems in administrative processes allows the optimization of processes. As the main research contribution, it seeks to make clear the importance and influence of systematizing processes, making them more assertive, with more information security and reducing their preparation time. |
