description This present work shows the process of production of teaching material, stemming from an illustrated book aimed at visual language introduction content in the bi-dimensional field, with the intention of this material being a learning tool for the introduction of its theme in the school syllabus of Visual Arts in the first years of basic education, it also brings reflection and experiences in education developed during the obligated internship, in the years 2020 and 2021 in the public school system and in the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) in the years 2018 and 2019, where the possibility of production of this book was investigated to collaborate with the teaching-learning process in the first years of school. It also brings reports about the pedagogical action developed from the approach shown in the illustrated book, bringing the results and reflections made from the classes taught. Thus, the methodology of the research brings a qualitative approach, where its researcher attended the space where the data regarding the study was, collecting them personally from direct observation of the school context in which he was inserted. It is also characterized as action research, where, when a problem of assimilation of visual language in educational practices was identified, I seek to make a tool that helps the solution of the identified problem, implementing it in the Pedagogical Act. With the understanding that the new generations are becoming more and more in contact with various imagetic possibilities, and the world consists intensely in visual forms is of great importance that future generations are introduced from an early age to the theme of visual structure and its meaning building resources, so in the future, having the right tools to interpret it critically.

O presente trabalho evidencia o processo de produção de um material didático, a partir do desenvolvimento de um livro ilustrado, voltado para os conteúdos de introdução a linguagem visual no campo bidimensional, com a intenção desse material ser uma ferramenta introdutória para a temática nos conteúdos de Artes Visuais das séries iniciais da educação básica, além de reflexões e experiências educativas desenvolvidas durante os estágios obrigatórios, nos anos de 2020 e 2021 na rede pública de ensino, e no Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) entre os anos de 2018 e 2019, onde se investigou a possibilidade da produção deste livro a fim de colaborar com o processo de ensino aprendizado das séries em questão. Traz ainda relatos sobre a ação pedagógica desenvolvida a partir da abordagem mostrada no livro ilustrado, trazendo os resultados e reflexões feitas a partir das aulas ministradas. Assim a metodologia de pesquisa traz uma abordagem qualitativa, onde o pesquisador frequentou o ambiente onde se encontram os dados acerca do seu estudo, coletando-os pessoalmente a partir de uma observação direta do contexto escolar onde estava inserido. Caracteriza-se como uma pesquisa-criação, onde ao identificar um problema de assimilação das linguagens visuais em práticas educacionais nos estágios que participei, procuro produzir uma ferramenta que ajude na solução da problemática identificada, implementando-a a prática pedagógica.
