Resumo:This present work shows the process of production of teaching material, stemming from an illustrated book aimed at visual language introduction content in the bi-dimensional field, with the intention of this material being a learning tool for the introduction of its theme in the school syllabus of Visual Arts in the first years of basic education, it also brings reflection and experiences in education developed during the obligated internship, in the years 2020 and 2021 in the public school system and in the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID) in the years 2018 and 2019, where the possibility of production of this book was investigated to collaborate with the teaching-learning process in the first years of school. It also brings reports about the pedagogical action developed from the approach shown in the illustrated book, bringing the results and reflections made from the classes taught. Thus, the methodology of the research brings a qualitative approach, where its researcher attended the space where the data regarding the study was, collecting them personally from direct observation of the school context in which he was inserted. It is also characterized as action research, where, when a problem of assimilation of visual language in educational practices was identified, I seek to make a tool that helps the solution of the identified problem, implementing it in the Pedagogical Act. With the understanding that the new generations are becoming more and more in contact with various imagetic possibilities, and the world consists intensely in visual forms is of great importance that future generations are introduced from an early age to the theme of visual structure and its meaning building resources, so in the future, having the right tools to interpret it critically.
