One way to obtain the best production process is through constant optimization in workflows, which consists of mapping, standardizing, analyzing and correcting errors. This present work will focus on the improvement of the main laundry processes in jeans in a textile industry in Natal/RN It identified costs that did not add value to the process, lack of standardization and a great waste of water. After the study was carried out on the production of jeans, it was possible to reduce more than 50% of the water used and significantly reduce revenue costs. Com o aumento da demanda do mercado os desafios para destacar-se entre as organizações são maiores a cada dia. Uma forma de obter o melhor processo produtivo é através da otimização constante nos fluxos de trabalho, que consiste em mapear, padronizar, analisar e corrigir os erros. Este trabalho terá como foco o melhoramento dos principais processos de lavanderia em jeans em uma indústria têxtil de Natal/RN. Nela foram identificados custos que não agregavam valor ao processo, falta de padronização e um grande desperdício de água.
