description The structuring of Pharmaceutical Assistance (PA) in the Unified Health System - SUS is a great challenge to be constantly faced by managers and professionals who work in it, as it involves not only the management of the contribution of financial resources, but also the need for improvement continuous use of new strategies in its planning, direction and control, aiming to guarantee the efficiency of these actions, to strengthen the bonds between the services and the population and to promote, in addition to access, the rational use of medicines and the effective insertion of pharmaceutical assistance as an action of health. The purpose of PA Management is to improve the population's access to essential medicines, reduce discontinuity/supply in the supply of these therapeutic agents, in order to expand coverage, minimizing drug costs without compromising their safety, efficacy and quality. The present study aimed to analyze articles on the Management of Pharmaceutical Assistance in the SUS, through the CAPES Platform, published from 2012 to 2022. 49 articles published in 8 journals were found and only 20 of these publications dealt with management in Pharmaceutical Assistance and none of the articles presented a new management model despite being one of the policies of assistan cepharmaceutical. The area with the greatest contribution of publications was the Management of Pharmaceutical Assistance, although a practical and feasible management model has not yet been proposed, foreseen in the policies that guide the theme of access, rational use of medicines and better use of public funds, in the health system, as well as the organizational dimension, economic sustainability and the operational dimension

The area with the greatest contribution of publications was the Management of Pharmaceutical Assistance, although a practical and feasible management model has not yet been proposed, foreseen in the policies that guide the theme of access, rational use of medicines and better use of public funds, in the health system, as well as the organizational dimension, economic sustainability and the operational dimension A estruturação da Assistência Farmacêutica (AF) no Sistema Único de Saúde- SUS é um grande desafio a ser enfrentado, constantemente, pelos gestores e profissionais que nele atuam, por envolver não só o gerenciamento do aporte de recursos financeiros, como pela necessidade de aperfeiçoamento contínuo de novas estratégias no seu planejamento direção e controle, visando garantir a eficiência dessas ações, para fortalecer os vínculos entre os serviços e a população e promover, além do acesso, o uso racional dos medicamentos e a inserção efetiva da assistência farmacêutica como uma ação de saúde. A Gestão da AF tem por finalidade melhorar o acesso da população aos medicamentos essenciais, reduzir a descontinuidade/desabastecimento na oferta desses agentes terapêuticos, no sentido de ampliar a cobertura, minimizando os custos dos fármacos sem comprometer a segurança, eficácia e qualidade dos mesmos. O presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar artigos sobre a Gestão da Assistência Farmacêutica no SUS, através da Plataforma CAPES, publicados no período de 2012 a 2022. Foram encontrados 49 artigos publicados em 8 revistas e apenas 20 dessas publicações tratavam da gestão na Assistência Farmacêutica e nenhum dos artigos apresentou um novo modelo de gestão apesar de ser uma das políticas da assistência farmacêutica.
