Resumo:A Systematic Review 2022. 4 p. Degree in Music at the School of Music, Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022. This research aims to discuss how the introduction of musical teaching, based on the Soundscape, defended by Murray Schafer, can interfere in the formation of students into more conscious citizens. For the construction of this work, it was decided to carry out a systematic bibliographical review, where 10 academic works were chosen. The descriptors used for researching the works were: soundscape; sound ecology; musical education. After reading the selected works, as well as the discussion of the work, it was possible to reach the following results: with knowledge of the soundscape, individuals can not only make a quantitative analysis of the noise in the places where they frequent, but also observe the sound quality; knowledge of the soundscape concept allows individuals to awaken to active listening, helping them to seek better sound quality in the environment in which they live; as it is an interdisciplinary study, the study of the soundscape, defended by Murray Schafer, allows the association of several disciplines, enabling the formation of individuals who are more aware of their rights and duties in society.
