Given the relevance of this theme, which is relevant due to the inequality that plagues the entire world, the following problem question arose: are there textual elements in the Women's Convention that are identified with the equity proposal defended by Nísia Floresta? As a hypothesis of answer to the questioning made, it is understood that yes. To analyze this connection, the work made use of exploratory bibliographic methodology, documental investigation and hermeneutics. The specific objectives outlined to achieve the intended interpretation are: to describe the ideals proposed by Nísia Floresta in the struggle for gender equity; understand female vulnerability in the context of disparity; and analyze the text of the Women's Convention to identify to what extent it fits with Nísia Floresta's thinking. Through these parameters, it was possible to conclude that the central proposal of the International Convention, which is to repress any discrimination against women and promote gender equality, is directly linked to the anti-discrimination fight carried out by Nísia Floresta, who was a pioneer in women's awareness of the right to equity. O presente estudo analisa se os dispositivos normativos da Convenção Internacional sobre a Eliminação de Todas as Formas de Discriminação contra a Mulher possuem elementos que correspondem aos ideais antidiscriminatórios defendidos por Nísia Floresta na sua expressiva história de luta por equidade de gênero. Diante da relevância dessa temática, que é pertinente em virtude da desigualdade que assola o mundo inteiro, surgiu a seguinte pergunta problema: existem elementos textuais na Convenção da Mulher que possuam identificação com a proposta de equidade defendida por Nísia Floresta? Como hipótese de resposta ao questionamento realizado, entende-se que sim. Para analisar essa conexão, o trabalho fez uso da metodologia bibliográfica exploratória, da investigação documental e da hermenêutica. Os objetivos específicos delineados para alcançar a interpretação pretendida são: descrever os ideais propostos por Nísia Floresta na luta por equidade de gênero; compreender a vulnerabilidade feminina no contexto da disparidade; e analisar o texto da Convenção da Mulher para identificar em que medida ele se adequa com o pensamento de Nísia Floresta.
