description In the light of feminist criticism and gender studies, the present dissertation aims to analyze the representations and stereotypes of lesbians in the short stories “Flor, flores, ferro retorcido” and “Vó, a Senhora é lesbica?”. Both narratives are in the book of short stories entitled Amora, published in 2015, by the writer Natalia Borges Polesso, which has as its guiding thread stories of lesbian women in their various experiences and performances. In the research, we investigated the ways in which Polesso, through the construction of his characters, tensions stereotypes contained in social imaginaries to build plural representations of dissent. The research also discusses the power of the writer's discourse, as a subversive bias of the hegemonic uses of language in the literary field, by inscribing lesbian existence in Amora. For this, we reflect from the feminist criticism contained in Bonnet (1995), Lauretis (1994), Rich, (2010) and Wiitig (2006), taking a look at the constructions that the author makes of lesbian characters and the studies of gender coined by Butler (2010), Foucault (1999) and Louro (2020), seeking to understand how aspects of the social constructions of sexuality and gender are engendered in the stories. In view of the analyzes and discussions of this research, we understand the importance of Polesso's work for the construction of a more plural and dissident Brazilian literary scene, which guides multiple women, living multiple sexualities.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES À luz da crítica feminista e dos estudos de gênero, esta dissertação tem como objetivo analisar as representações e os estereótipos das lesbianidades nos contos “Flor, flores, ferro retorcido” e “Vó, a senhora é lésbica?”. Ambas as narrativas estão no livro de contos intitulado Amora, publicado em 2015, da escritora Natalia Borges Polesso, que tem por fio condutor histórias de mulheres lésbicas em suas diversas vivências e performances. Na pesquisa, investigamos as maneiras pelas quais Polesso, através da construção das suas personagens, tensiona estereótipos contidos nos imaginários sociais para construir representações plurais das dissidências. A pesquisa discute, ainda, a potência do discurso da escritora, enquanto um viés subversivo dos usos hegemônicos da linguagem no campo literário, ao inscrever em Amora a existência lésbica. Para isso, refletimos a partir da crítica feminista contida em Bonnet (1995), Lauretis (1994), Rich, (2010) e Wiitig (2006), lançando um olhar às construções que a autora faz das personagens lésbicas e dos estudos de gênero cunhados por Butler (2010), Foucault (1999) e louro (2020), buscando compreender como os aspectos das construções sociais de sexualidade e gênero são engendrados nos contos.
