description This research investigates the role of ideologies in the processes of resistance against the precariousness of work undertaken by bus drivers in Natal/RN. From a Marxist theoreticalreferential framework and based on historical-cultural psychology, this research seeks to understand more than the precariousness of work, it seeks, more specifically, to understand the way in which workers fight and resist this phenomenon. Bus drivers have undergone a gradual process of transformation of their working conditions since the early 2000s, when the electronic ticketing system was adopted in Brazil. Such a system allows the automation of the bus collector activity, which resulted in mass dismissal of these professionals and in the accumulation of tasks by the drivers. This process, which was predominantly gradual, underwent a major radicalization during the pandemic crisis related to the new coronavirus, from the year 2020. However, workers from all over Brazil and, more specifically, from Natal, mobilized to resist. Within this context, using semi-structured interviews, 11 bus drivers were interlocutors in this research. Based on the meanings expressed in these interviews, it was possible to identify which ideologies guided the subjects' actions against precariousness. The ideologies identified were three: ideology of classical labor; ideology of collective struggle; and salvationist ideology. What can be concluded from these ideologies is that workers have a critical view of precariousness and perceive the need for changes. These changes, however, are seen as the responsibility of third parties, even though workers also take unmotivated and suspicious direct attitudes.

Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES Esta pesquisa investiga o papel das ideologias nos processos de resistência contra a precarização do trabalho empreendidos pelos motoristas de ônibus do transporte público municipal de Natal/RN. A partir de um quadro teórico-referencial marxista e fundamentado na Psicologia histórico-cultural, esta pesquisa busca compreender mais do que a precarização do trabalho. Procura, mais especificamente, entender a maneira como os trabalhadores lutam e resistem a esse fenômeno. Os motoristas de ônibus passam por um processo paulatino de transformação das suas condições de trabalho desde o início dos anos 2000, quando se adota, no Brasil, o sistema de bilhetagem eletrônica. Tal sistema permite a automatização da atividade de cobrador de ônibus, o que redundou em demissão em massa desses profissionais e em acúmulo de tarefas por parte dos motoristas. Esse processo, que foi predominantemente paulatino, passou por uma grande radicalização durante a crise pandêmica relativa ao novo coronavírus, a partir do ano de 2020. Entretanto, os trabalhadores de todo o Brasil e, mais especificamente, de Natal, se mobilizaram para resistir. Dentro desse contexto, se valendo de entrevistas semiestruturadas, 11 motoristas de ônibus foram interlocutores desta pesquisa. A partir dos sentidos manifestados nessas entrevistas, foi possível identificar quais ideologias orientavam as ações dos sujeitos ante os conflitos relativos à precarização. As ideologias identificadas foram três: ideologia do trabalho assalariado clássico; ideologia da luta coletiva; e ideologia salvacionista. O que se pode concluir a partir dessas ideologias, é que os trabalhadores possuem uma visão crítica a respeito da precarização e percebem a necessidade de mudanças.
