In this sense, the referred course presents, in this proposal, a collective effort, enabled by the participation of the teachers of its permanent staff, which seeks to match these demands with the legal and social demands. the main objective of the course is to promote training for the teaching performance in Early Childhood Education, in the Early Years of Elementary Education with children, young people and adults, as well as for the exercise of pedagogical management and coordination in different stages, modalities and educational contexts, under a critical, creative and inclusive perspective. It is also the objective of the course to provide a solid foundation in the citizen's formation of the graduate, including actions that involve individuals, society and the environment. O Projeto Pedagógico do Curso de Licenciatura em Pedagogia - CERES/Campus Caicó da UFRN foi organizado com o intuito de atender às prerrogativas legais estabelecidas; às normatizações internas da UFRN, especialmente no que se refere ao Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI), ao Projeto Pedagógico Institucional (PPI) e ao Regulamento dos Cursos de Graduação; e, ainda, à constante necessidade de aprimoramento do curso em face das demandas societárias postas. Nesse sentido, o referido curso apresenta, nesta proposta, um esforço coletivo, ensejado pela participação dos professores do seu quadro permanente, que busca coadunar essas exigências com as demandas legais e sociais. o principal objetivo do curso é promover formação para a atuação docente na Educação Infantil, nos Anos Iniciais do Ensino Fundamental com crianças, jovens e adultos, bem como para o exercício da gestão e coordenação pedagógica em diferentes etapas, modalidades e contextos educativos, sob uma perspectiva crítica, criativa e inclusiva.
