In studies focused on the education of students and teachers, the importance of training
readers through literacy has been recognized, since the act of reading literature is seen as a
source of elucidation and democratization of culture. However, in order to overcome the old
barriers of exclusion and to form readers with Intellectual Disabilities through literary, it is
necessary to reflect on the role of the new reading and writing tools brought by digital
technologies and how these instruments can help in the processes inclusion, accessibility,
teaching and learning of students with specific needs. Based on these premises, this work
aimed to develop a guide to help adapt digital literature books for people aged 5 to 12 with
Intellectual Disabilities. More specifically, to analyze the material available on the eduCAPES
portal in the form of digital literature books for people with Intellectual Disabilities; built a
survey on the digital books of literature available on the portal, within the scope of
accessibility for people with Intellectual Disabilities; and analyzed the potential of using these
digital books available on the portal for literary and the inclusion of people with Intellectual
Disabilities, in order to subsidize the preparation of the guide. This work is a research with a
qualitative, exploratory approach, of the netnography type. As the locus to carry out our study,
we chose the eduCAPES collection, which is an online educational portal, prepared by the
Diretoria de Educação a Distância - DED/CAPES, which aims to disseminate and disseminate
learning materials and objects developed by students and education professionals. For data
collection, we defined some search criteria for searching the material available on the portal,
filtering the available content by type of file (digital book), language (Portuguese), year of
publication (2015 to 2021) and content (books of literature). After collecting the data, we
analyzed the materials found, through content analysis, based on previously defined analysis
criteria, both from the literary point of view and from the accessible point of view. In the end,
we realized that the education of readers of literature with Intellectual Disabilities, mediated
by digital books, can re-signify teaching practices, contribute significantly to the inclusion of
people with specific needs and to the dissemination of culture, literature and knowledge.
However, we conclude that the movement towards cultural accessibility and adaptation of
books for people with Intellectual Disabilities is still poorly rooted in society, so that few
materials are elaborated and disseminated to the public. In order to contribute to the cultural
accessibility movement and to the dissemination of books for people with Intellectual
Disabilities, we prepared a guide exemplifying some formats and adaptation techniques and
indicating some sites and institutions that have adapted material. |

Nos estudos voltados para a formação de alunos e professores, tem-se reconhecido a importância da formação de leitores, por meio do letramento literário, já que o ato de ler literatura é visto como uma fonte de elucidação e democratização da cultura. No entanto, para que se supere as velhas barreiras da exclusão e possamos formar leitores com Deficiência Intelectual por meio letramento literário é necessário refletir sobre o papel das novas ferramentas de leitura e escrita trazidas pelas tecnologias digitais e de que forma esses instrumentos podem auxiliar nos processos de inclusão, acessibilidade, ensino e aprendizagem dos alunos com necessidades específicas. A partir dessas premissas, esse trabalho teve por objetivo desenvolver um guia para auxiliar a adaptação de livros digitais de literatura para pessoas, de 5 a 12 anos, com Deficiência Intelectual. De modo mais específico, analisar o material disponibilizado no portal eduCAPES em formato de livros digitais de literatura para pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual; construímos um levantamento sobre os livros digitais de literatura disponibilizado no portal, no âmbito da acessibilidade de pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual; e analisamos o potencial de utilização desses livros digitais disponibilizados no portal para o letramento literário e inclusão de pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual, no intuito de subsidiar a elaboração do guia. Esse trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa com abordagem qualitativa, exploratória, do tipo netnografia. Como locus para realização do nosso estudo, escolhemos o acervo do eduCAPES, que é um portal educacional online, elaborado pela Diretoria de Educação a Distância - DED/CAPES, e que tem por objetivo a divulgação e disseminação de materiais e objetos de aprendizagem desenvolvidos por estudantes e profissionais da educação. Para coleta de dados, definimos alguns critérios de busca para pesquisa do material disponibilizado no portal, filtrando o conteúdo disponível através do tipo de arquivo (livro digital), idioma (Português), ano de publicação (2015 a 2021) e conteúdo (livros de literatura). Após a coleta dos dados, analisamos os materiais encontrados, a partir da análise de conteúdo, com base nos critérios de análise previamente definidos, tanto do ponto de vista literário, quanto do ponto de vista acessível. Ao final, percebemos que a formação de leitores de literatura com Deficiência Intelectual, mediada pelos livros digitais, pode ressignificar as práticas docentes, contribuir significativamente para a inclusão das pessoas com necessidades específicas e para a disseminação da cultura, da literatura e do conhecimento. No entanto, concluímos que o movimento em direção a acessibilidade cultural e adaptação de livros para pessoas com Deficiência Intelectual ainda encontra-se pouco enraizado nas sociedade, de modo que poucos materiais são elaborados e disseminados para o público.
