description Introduction: COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the new Coronavirus, first identified in December 2019, in the city of Wuhan, China. In January 2020, World Health Organization (WHO) decreed that the outbreak caused by the COVID-19 constituted a Public Health Emergency of International Concern, being categorized as a pandemic. This has affected a large part of the population and caused structural consequences at both micro and macro levels. It has been observed that, in addition to the economic repercussions, the advent of the pandemic reverberated in an overwhelming way in the lives of people in situations of social vulnerability, especially women's. Objective: This study aimed to understand, alongside with the technical team of a Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS) in a city in the countryside of Rio Grande do Norte, the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on mental health of women who benefit from the service. Material and Method: This is an interventionresearch of a multimethod nature, based on the theoretical-methodological framework of Institutional Analysis (IA). To this end, three rounds of conversations were carried out with the team's technicians; consultations with the service's medical records to map the demands that occurred during the period between 2020 and 2021; and participant observation with records in the research diaries. The data were analyzed through important concepts from the theoretical-methodological framework of IA. Results: Among the data collected, what drew attention in the research was the fact that the public benefited from the service, during the period analyzed, was mostly adult women, with a lower level of education than complete secondary education, in extreme poverty, and predominantly beneficiaries of the extinct “Bolsa Família” Program. Regarding the results of this research, we have observed changes in the demands of CRAS, such as the increase in demand for eventual benefits and the emergence of mental health issues related to the repercussions of the pandemic. Furthermore, we have noticed significant changes in the work process of the service affecting the professionals, in order to analyze their implications. Conclusion: Therefore, such studies are fundamental to understanding the particularities of each region, in addition to providing reflections on the repercussions of the COVID-19 pandemic for the population, in order to think about policies that may respond to such demands.

Introdução: A Covid-19 é uma doença infecciosa causada pelo novo Coronavírus, identificado pela primeira vez em dezembro de 2019, na cidade de Wuhan, China. Em janeiro de 2020 a Organização Mundial da Saúde (OMS) decretou que o surto causado pela Covid-19 constituía-se uma Emergência de Saúde Pública de Importância Internacional, categorizandose como uma pandemia. Essa tem afetado grande parte da população e provocado consequências estruturais tanto a nível micro, quanto nível macro. Observando-se que para além das repercussões econômicas, o advento da pandemia reverberou de forma avassaladora na vida de pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade social, principalmente das mulheres. Objetivos: O presente estudo teve como objetivo compreender junto a equipe técnica de um Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS) de uma cidade do interior do Rio Grande do Norte as repercussões da pandemia da Covid-19 na saúde mental das mulheres integrantes do serviço. Metodologia: Tratou-se de uma pesquisa-intervenção, em caráter de multimétodo, fundamentada no referencial teórico metodológico da Análise Institucional (AI). Para tanto, foram realizadas três rodas de conversas com as técnicas da equipe, consulta aos prontuários do serviço para mapeamento das demandas que ocorreram durante período de 2020 a 2021, observação participante com registros no diário de pesquisa. Os dados foram analisados por meio de conceitos importantes do referencial teórico-metodológico da AI. Resultados: Destaca-se entre os dados levantados que o público atendido no serviço, durante o período analisado, era majoritariamente feminino, em idade adulta, com um grau de escolaridade inferior ao ensino médio completo, em situação de extrema pobreza e predominantemente eram beneficiárias do extinto Programa Bolsa Família. Como resultados observamos as mudanças nas demandas do CRAS, tais como o aumento na procura por benefícios eventuais, aparecimento de questões de saúde mental relacionadas as repercussões da pandemia. Além disso, percebemos significativas mudanças no processo de trabalho do serviço afetando as profissionais, de maneia a analisar suas implicações.
