Resumo: | This is a research about the Teaching of Geography on a local scale, addressing the
example of the discipline "Geography of Ceara-Mirim", a curricular component of
elementary education in the Municipality of Ceará-Mirim, in the State of Rio Grande do
Norte, Brazil. The research addresses the problem of the existence of this discipline
without a school curriculum, or didactic materials guiding the teaching practice. To this
end, the aforementioned master's thesis proposes didactic material for the subject in
question, based on a survey carried out with managers, teachers and students of the
Municipality, as well as on theoretical and methodological studies about curriculum and
teaching geography. |
