Resumo:E-commerce began in Brazil in the 1990s and provided new opportunities for organizations working in the purchasing and sales field. Considering this, the present research addresses the theme ´´E-commerce Administration``. The number of purchases and sales on E-commerce grew unexpectedly with the emergence of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Thus, the objective of the present work is to understand the main aspects related to E-commerce, as well as the potential and challenges that it presents for companies and administrators, so that both are prepared to obtain benefits for the company. To carry out this study, firstly, the type of research was defined. From this, the methodology of field research was used, where an online questionnaire was applied to workers who use marketing and e-commerce tools in their businesses. It is believed that the Administration in E-commerce should seek to meet all variations of commerce, seeking to solve the problems that arise in the digital market. With this, it will be possible to achieve the greatest possible effectiveness. In addition, it was possible to observe that working in this field is of fundamental importance for companies that aim to increase the chances of success and sales to their target audience. Therefore, it is clear that E-commerce consists of a form of business that brings numerous advantages, both for the entrepreneur and for the consumer.
