This is was an exploratory quantitative research in which graduates of the residence from the period 2015-2019 were invited to answer a self-administered questionnaire through the Google Forms platform. Questions about the sociodemographic, formative and field of activity were addressed. The main findings of this research were the insertion of the majority of SDC in Primary Health Care through a stactary bond within 6 months after the end of the residency and the main activities developed were health care and preceptorship. It was concluded that the Multiprofessional Residency has the potential to modify the traditional dental practice, guiding to comprehensive health care through collaborative and interprofessional work, as well as qualifying the workforce of the SDC at the SUS. Os Programas de Residência Multiprofissional em Saúde compõem modalidades de especialização com a finalidade de inserir os egressos da graduação diretamente no serviço e fortalecer o sistema público de saúde. O estudo objetivou elencar as principais características da inserção no SUS dos cirurgiões-dentistas (CD) egressos de Programas de Residência em Saúde da Família (PRMSF). Tratou-se de um estudo quantitativo exploratório no qual os egressos da residência do período de 2015-2019 foram convidados a responder um questionário autoadministrado por meio da plataforma Google Formulários. Foram abordadas questões acerca do perfil sócio-demográfico, formativo e campo de atuação. Realizou-se análise descritiva das variáveis. Os principais achados dessa pesquisa foram a inserção da maioria dos CD na Atenção Básica à Saúde por meio de vínculo estatuário em até 6 meses após o termino da -Residência e as principais atividades desenvolvidas foram a atenção à saúde e a preceptoria.
