Resumo:The world is increasingly behaving in a way in which fast changes, in the business context, are becoming essential to stay competitively alive in the market, being globalization and digital transformation two causal factors that can be cited for the development of this reality. The present study was carried out in an Industry in Rio Grande do Norte, with the objective of analyzing how its conjuncture behaves in a context of transient competitive advantages by applying the TCAM model, and identifying if it is possible to apply this to an Industry that produces and commercializes Flower of Salt. To this end, an exploratory research of a qualitative descriptive nature was carried out with the subtype case study, in which a semi-structured interview was conducted to collect data and information. It was possible to identify that the company fits into a "consistent environment, but asystematic and reactive" for not having the practice of stimulating continuous innovation and not presenting processes for abandoning activities that no longer present potential for growth implemented in the organization. From the diagnosis opens the opportunity for the company, based on the gaps found, to adopt new attitudes, in order to fit, as best as possible, into the context of transient competitive advantages.
