Resumo: | Integrated post-cardiac arrest (CRA) care should include cardiopulmonary and neurological support. Objective: To identify in the literature nursing care for patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Methodology: This is an integrative literature review, which consists of a broad analysis of the studies in the databases, contributing to a better synthesis and research results. Results: The final sample consisted of 9 articles. The articles included in the current review address topics such as care with the patient's PaCO2 for a better neurological prognosis; hemodynamic care with Mean Arterial Pressure (MAP); the feasibility of therapeutic hypothermia; temperature control after cardiac arrest; the importance of debriefing; nursing in rehabilitation; and assistance and psychological care to patients. Final considerations: Through this review, it was possible to identify the importance of nursing care for patients after cardiopulmonary resuscitation and its contribution to patient survival. |
