| Resumo: | Lifting machines are widely used in the industrial environment as a way to
increase productivity, streamlining production lines due to the large load capacity in
a short time. The present work aims to improve the functioning and compliance with
the standards of a freight elevator of frequent use in a production line of a bakery
industry, based on the design parameters of lifting and transport machines present
in the NBR 14712, NBR 8400 and available literature. Initially, the main problems
present in the structure were listed, and then the solution that would best apply in
the short term was sought, in order to generate less damage to the production line,
and then the best long-term solution to prolong the elevator life. Improvements and
structural adjustments were proposed to optimize the operation of the elevator, which
has continuous failures, especially regarding the use of steel cables and pulleys. |
