The fact that this proposal is still being developed in the context of fighting the disease makes the use of terms such as “post-covid 19 architecture” or “post-pandemic architecture” premature. However, after two years of living with the virus, the debate about the impacts of this historic moment on buildings can begin. More specifically, two questions arise, the first concerns: how can we make environments safer in relation to the contagion of diseases? And the second: how can we create housing that is better adapted to the need for changes, whether temporary and dynamic - such as in periods of social isolation or continued permanence - or those that arise throughout the life of their owners? From these reflections, the approaches of the proposal are traced. Sanitaryism, on the one hand, seeks to incorporate strategies to mitigate the contagion of diseases and promote health in the architectural project. As for flexibility, it is concerned with allowing the residential environment to easily adapt to the routine and/or lifestyle changes of its users. Motivado pela conjuntura atual de enfrentamento do Sars-CoV-2, e a noção que ao longo da história as crises sanitárias deixaram sequelas na forma como concebemos espaços, o presente trabalho trata do desenvolvimento de um estudo preliminar arquitetônico de edifício vertical multifamiliar com foco em sanitarismo e flexibilidade. O fato desta proposta está sendo desenvolvida ainda no cenário de combate da doença, torna precoce a utilização de termos como “arquitetura pós-covid 19” ou “arquitetura pós-pandemia” . No entanto, tendo passado dois anos de convivência com o vírus, pode-se iniciar o debate sobre os impactos desse momento histórico nas edificações. Mais especificamente, levanta-se duas questões, a primeira diz respeito a: como podemos tornar os ambientes mais seguros em relação ao contágio de doenças? E a segunda: como podemos criar moradias melhor adaptadas à necessidade de mudanças, sejam elas temporárias e dinâmicas - como em períodos de isolamento social - sejam as que surgem ao longo da vida de seus proprietários? A partir dessas reflexões são traçados os enfoques da proposta, Flexibilidade e Sanitarismo. O primeiro, por um lado, busca incorporar ao projeto arquitetônico estratégias para mitigar o contágio de doenças e promover a saúde.
